The Client:
Nation Valley Ranch is one of the only equestrian facilities in Ontario that offers vaulting lessons and competitive level coaching, and is home to the Nation Valley Ranch Vaulters. They also offer Western horseback riding lessons, along with both a recreational drill club and the Capital Cowgirls Drill Team.
The Problem:
Their website didn’t have a lot of content and although it had beautiful images, they were large and slowed down the site’s loading speed. This caused Nation Valley Ranch to not rank very highly in Google searches for vaulting and riding lessons. Owner Jen Byvelds wanted to rank high for those search terms. She also wanted a way for parents to register and pay for their child’s class online, including both full and monthly payment options.
The Solution:
I designed her new website with a focus on the vaulting classes and encouraging visitors to register for a class. I built an e-commerce registration form that offers full and monthly subscription payments and tracks the number of spots for each class so that Jen doesn’t oversell the available spaces.
The Result:
Jen is very happy with the look and feel of her new site, and is very pleased with the e-commerce functionaality of the registration form.
