The Client:

Flair with Fabrics was a quilting and sewing supply store located in Chesterville, Ontario. They specialized in high-quality fabrics and notions. 

The store has since closed, but the website is still used to sell handmade quilts. 

The Problem:

Their website was old, outdated and not mobile-friendly. They needed a website that would not only reflect the friendly, honest nature of the company, but also promote their services.

The Solution:

I designed their new website with a focus on making it easy for customers to find and contact the store, especially given that so many of their customers were coming from out of town. I also made the font slightly larger than most sites to accommodate for a slightly older clientele.

The Result:

Store owner Ruth Liscumb was very pleased with her new site. Although she closed the store shortly afterwards, she continues to update the site with her selection of handmade quilts for sale.
