The Client:
Arlor Haven Campground is a quiet, mature campground nestled on the banks of the St. Lawrence River. Their sites are mostly seasonal, with some transient sites.
The Problem:
They needed a complete redesign of their existing site. Their new website needed to retain the relaxed, peaceful nature of their campground while making it modern, easy to navigate and mobile-friendly.
The Solution:
The biggest draw for campers at Arlor Haven is that it is on the banks of the St. Lawrence River, so I used a wavy section divider to give the website a calm, river feel. I also emphasized the peaceful atmosphere of the campground in the design.
The Result:
Owner Rose Wickwire is very pleased with her new website, as it gives visitors a sense of the peaceful, relaxing atmosphere campers can expect.
