The Client:

Vanderlaand The Barnyard Zoo is a petting zoo near Winchester Springs that features a large selection of farm animals, including miniature horses, goats, rabbits, alpacas, peacocks, pot belly pigs, and zebu cattle. They have a variety of other services as well, including birthday parties, private tours, and animals for sale.

The Problem:

Their website was a few years old and needed a refresh. Ruth wanted to increase conversions on the site and attract more visitors to the farm.

The Solution:

I designed their new website with a focus on the interactive experience the farm offers. This meant lots of pictures of the animals, added touches such as animal footprints in the background of pages and animal puns in the content, as well as making sure the hours, contact information, and map were easily available to help guide potential visitors to the farm.
