The Client:
The Ontario Equestrian Vaulting Association is a non-profit group whose mission is to provide a fun, safe and rewarding atmosphere that promotes the sport of equestrian vaulting within the province of Ontario.
The Problem:
The OEVA did not have a website, and being a newly formed organization, they did not have a ton of content, but they needed a web presence in order to serve their members. They wanted to provide information about the organization, along with a list of vaulting farms in Ontario, and a list of upcoming events in the province.
The Solution:
This one-page site uses a store locator plugin to display a list of vaulting facilities in Ontario on a map, with hover effects to show additional information about the farm, along with a searchable list of the farms beside the map. It also displays upcoming events throughout Ontario, along with information about the OEVA. It was important to the board to not have recognizable vaulters in any of the photos so the site couldn’t be perceived as promoting any particular farm, which is why most of the images don’t show the faces of any of the vaulters.
The Result:
This website is poised to help the OEVA get found online and provide necessary information to its membership, but it has plenty of room to grow down the road, should the organization decide to add pages and provide additional content.
