The Client:
Mountain Generator Services was a new business owned by Darrin Coleman, who formerly ran Coleman Small Engines.
The Problem:
Darrin needed a website for the business to help inform potential clients about what to ask before investing in a standby generator, and to offer existing clients a way to contact him for emergency service.
The Solution:
I designed his website with a focus on making the benefits of owning a standby generator clear, and on getting relevant information about warranty and maintenance front and centre.
His main call to action was for clients to fill out a contact form to arrange an in-home consultation for a quote for a generator. So I added a slide-in contact form that is accessible through various buttons throughout the site, including the top navigation on desktop view.
Darrin also wanted a way for existing clients to contact him for emergency service, so I made clickable telephone numbers available throughout his site and used ‘sticky’ buttons at the bottom of the mobile view of his website.
